Was The Lightning Thief not a good enough lesson on why Hollywood shouldn’t be allowed to turn amazing books into movies?
Sincerely,
A Divergent fan
yess…
Is that confirmed?
I mean, he is even blonde. WTF?

Not really.
First of all, the last thing the producers do in this show is making Stefan looks good. They couldn’t care less to a main character, it’s all about Damon for a long time (since the beginning of season 2). They do everything they can to make Damon looks better than he really is, to make less despicable than he really is. Stefan is always the boring, annoying, tiring and useless thing.
About the scene when he’s going to ask for Bonnie’s help, he can’t be blamed to not care about her feelings since he couldn’t possibly know how bad she really was. Let’s remember episode 3x01: Bonnie was asked to help Elena and when it happens Stefan and Elena are imprisoned by the Council, with Rebekah (miss ya, Barbie vamp!!). He didn’t see Bonnie there, just Elena and an empty thing, he wasn’t present when she was not allowed, by Grams, to interfere. Again, Bonnie was forced to help Klaus. Stefan was still in prison, he didn’t see anything happening. So, he didn’t know she was so hurt. The ones who know weren’t anywhere near her, weren’t anywhere comforting her.
And of course she would ask, even beg, to help. That’s how Bonnie is! She is always ignoring her own feelings and beliefs to help her friends. She did everything, until now, for them. She is much more selfless than Elena, in my opinion. She would never let one of her friends in need of help. She lost Grams twice because of her friends. She lost her mother because of her friends. She lost her powers because of her friends. She suffered hell because of her friends, and she is still suffering; she is still being the one who cleans up the mess everyone’s letting behind.
So, it’s pretty reliable that she would implore Stefan to help, of course. These two are underrated in this show, but they are very awesome characters. I feel very sorry for Bonnie, because she was heartbreaking and where everyone was? I feel very sorry for Stefan because he is always the wrong side of the right, at least that’s how this show puts him every episode.
Seriously.
While people are all about bullying and equal rights and feminism and stop abuse, literature and TV are being filled with abusive and controlling and selfish men that are, surprinsingly, the new objection of women affection.
Come on. I can’t accept women truly want an obsessive man that disrespect their choices, control their lives, humiliate them. This is not sexy and this is not healthy. Abusive men aren’t cute uncomprehended boys, they’re predators. Is that what these women want for their lives?
Where are we, after years of fight for women’s rights and equality? After so many women dying and suffering battling for us to be seen as men’s equal, what we really want is being humiliated and abused by men?
Sorry, I don’t get it.
Can you see the way his expression changes when he sees that she’s upset? The concern. Instantly he takes a step forward like its an instinct in an attempt to cradle her into his arms but he can’t get in. And then she lets him in so easily and the first thing he does is pull her into her arms and she doesn’t even fight it. Because nobody is there for her. Literally this girl is grieving due to her attempt to save her friend yet I don’t see any of them around her giving her support that she needs. She has to get it from Stefan.
While everyone is so involved with their own problems, Stefan is involved with everyone’s problems. I don’t understand how people underrate awesome characters in this show, as Bonnie and Stefan - they’re awesome characters, beautiful people, true friends and the fandom is only concerned about selfish maniac Damon or evil disturbed Klaus - among others.
Shame on, people.
